Milano

1 & 3: getting unnecessarily excited about the duomo--I feel like I'm cheating on Florence when I say it might just be prettier than the one there! (red top is by zara--similar one from them here!)

2: touring the headquarters of Dolce & Gabbana. Pinch me.

3: Brunch at California Bakery, aka some much needed american food (don't worry, I still love you pizza & pasta)

scandicci

skirt: zara (similar here) // shoes: converse (here) // top: mango (similar here) // bag: vintage coach // scarf: vintage (similar here) // earnings: vintage

Ciao belle! Maybe its just wishful thinking, but I swear it's felt a bit warmer/springier in Florence recently! It was warm enough to go out one day without tights at least! This skirt is one of my all-time favorite zara finds--not only does is it comfortable, but uber photogenic too! The earrings are from a vintage trade show I went to over the weekend (so dangerous--wanted to buy the whole place), and are surprisingly light for their size! Plus they're lavender! Yay! School is getting back into crazy territory, so we actually took these photos in front of my design lab in Scandicci--pretty cool exterior, huh?

Kayla

Santa Maria Novella

dress: italian brand (similar here) // sunnies: prada (here) //  scarf: vintage (love this similar one here!)

Bongiorno! A couple days ago my roomie Kelly and I took photos in front of the beautiful Santa Maria Novella church here in Florence (where Micaelangelo apprenticed!), which has the most beautiful blue door! We grabbed coffee, sketched, chatted, and enjoyed the   pretty weather Florence has been having in the afternoons. I love this sweater dress I got at a boutique here--some sweater-dresses are too heavy for me, but this is cozy without being bulky! Added this super fun 70's vintage scarf (thanks Gram!) and my go-to sunnies for something easy, but still stylish!
