 Last week in NYC, my roomies and I wandered around the lovely west village for an afternoon. I paired these emerald wide-leg pants with a simple black crop top, and my black blazer. Sometimes it's best to try and keep things simple and chic. Hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas with their families! xoxo

So unbelievable excited to be done with my first semester of college in 2 days! I'm sure I'll miss the big apple, but I'm definitely ready for some needed family time! I love this outfit against the backdrop of the cabs--it feels so new york! Putting a turtleneck under this dress made it more weather-appropriate, and the matching bag and lips made the look a bit more cohesive.

So apparently "groutfits" (all grey outfits) are a thing, so I decided I might as well join the bandwagon. This grey sweater is to die for-- definitely one of my favorites to cozy up in, its just so big and snuggly!

I thought it was super interesting that pantone chose not one, but TWO colors this year for their 2016 color(s?) of the year. Not sure if I agree with the whole two colors thing, but I certainly love the shades they picked out! Rose Quartz and Serenity! I decided to base my outfit off of their choices, because I really do love how the colors look together. Also--shoutout to my best friend Rae for visiting me all the way in the big apple (and braving the subway!) and to my parents for surprising me on my birthday two days ago! xoxo

I love black and tan paired together, so I decided to wear these pants with my black turtleneck from zara and my cat-eye sunnies. Seriously, everyone should own a black turtleneck, they go with freakin' everything! Side note--these pants are still for sale at forever 21, and they're heaven <3

I love this peasant blouse of my roommate's so much that I decided to steal it for the day! Its just got so much movement, and the blush color is gorgeous too. Since the top was was oversized and flowing, I thought it was best to pair it with simple dark-wash skinny jeans and my favorite boots.

I got this shirt on sale at Nordstrom when Jules and I visited Pennsylvania, and it's definitely one of my favorites now! I love anything oversized, and this boyfriend button down definitely fits the bill! I paired it with these velvety cords from loft and thrifted shoes from Beacon's Closet. Hope your turkey day was fantastic!

The weather here is finally acting like it's supposed to in late November, which means hello rainy and freezing days! Don't be scared to try layering some of your summery pieces with sweaters in the winter--the dress I'm wearing under the oversized blue sweater is actually from my graduation! I know I know, who wears a summery shirt in mid November? But the weather yesterday was so beautiful, and the top matched perfectly with these amazing thrifted boots. Seriously though, how cute are they? So unique with the wrap up detail. I went very matchy matchy with the outfit, but I like how it turned out!
