Hello from NYC! I went with my roommates Audra (Southern New Yorker) and Julia (Hey Jule) to take some blog pictures after a day of running errands and orientation meetings. Jules snapped some pics while I tried to avoid getting hit by the evening traffic!  If you're looking to transition into fall but it's still hot outside (like today for me!), try wearing long, light, and loose pants to beat the heat.

{obsession: vintage atomizers}

So, I have decided to start sharing a few of the things I'm obsessed with on the blog! And my current obsession is....vintage perfume atomizers! I found my great grandmother's clear glass one when going through some of my mom's things, and fell instantly in love with it. The one on the right was picked up by my best friend at a vintage store, and I absolutely adore it as well. I'll just have to be careful not to get more bottles than I have perfume to fill them with!

If you're looking for your own atomizers, I would suggest checking out local thrift and vintage shops, or looking on eBay. Ralph Lauren's Midnight Romance is a great option if you want a beautiful bottle that comes with the perfume!

My first blog post in NYC ahhh! My roommates decided to walk over to central park and take some blog photos. (I even saw the Blair & Nate bridge/duck pond from Gossip Girl...though its not this one). This dress was a major find on sale at UO, and I love the mod 60s vibe it has. The peek of black from my bralette is fun too! If you have a dress that dips down too far for your bra, using a bralette instead is a easy and cute fix! (Also, shoes on repeat....sorry but they're my summer go-to!)

Good morning! Sorry this post didn't get up this weekend, but I have a good reason! I'm happy to announce I'm all moved in to my dorm in NYC, and couldn't be happier. These photos were actually taken in Georgetown back home, but look out for my first new york city post this upcoming weekend! Also, I'll do my best to maybe get a youtube account made so I can share all my dorm decorations.

It's so incredibly weird to think I'll be moving to the concrete jungle in exactly one week, NYC here I come! Absolutely no idea how I'll fit all my clothing into my dorm, much less the car, but I'm sure it'll all work out. My lovely friend hanna snapped a few shots at the gazebo near her house, and I'd thought I'd share my go to casual look--sandals, ripped skinnys, and a brandy melville top. Enjoy your weekend!

I had so much fun shooting with my friend Hanna in Georgetown this weekend! After a photoshoot, shopping, and cupcakes I felt quite productive. Not only do I love anything black and white, but I also love picking a few colors and playing with different textures and patterns within one outfit. Maybe thats why I adore this look!
