Long time no post! Transitioning back into life in VA combined with starting my new job has made life a tad bit hectic, and finding time to take pictures near impossible (RIP wonderful Manhattan walls). I wore this little number to work yesterday--excited to be working retail again at ann taylor! I absolutely love the print of this dress, and always like the look of gold jewelry against blue! Hope your memorial day was full of family and fun, and God bless our troops!

The last post from NYC! It's so weird to think that I won't be back and living there till next August, but I'm already getting excited to go to Florence for sophomore year! This top was on my April wish-list--but I actually was able to steal it from my roommate Soobin who had bought it when we were still in school. I love how fun the sleeves are, and how light and flowy it felt on. (side note: its still in stock on zara here!) 

current favorites

Life is finally settling down back in VA, and though I haven't quite gotten around to unpacking everything from college, I did finally get all my clothing put away (putting away the most important things first, right?). I realized I hadn't done a favorites post for awhile, so here are a few of the items I'm currently loving! 

First up is NARS blush in the shade orgasm (here), which has been a cult favorite for a loooong time. I've always been cheap and gone for the drugstore dupes when it comes to blushes (NYX pinched is a fabulous dupe for this one), but I finally got around to getting the actual thing, and couldn't be happier! Definitely recommend. 

My ex-suitemate (brb crying) Julia's mom actually got these for me (how sweet is that) and they are literally the cutest things ever. I love how they have old McCall's patterns on the front, and they're pretty thin-perfect to pack into a purse to take somewhere on the go!  You can get some at ModCloth here.

Last up are these Dior SoReal look-alike sunnies, which I've had for almost a year now, but recently started wearing more (look out for 'em in the next outfit post!) . I love love loved the look of these when Dior first came out with them, but wasn't really feeling that $600 dollar price tag ;). I got them on amazon here!

I'm officially back home in Virginia! Apologies for the lack of posts this last week--between finals and moving out I was a bit overwhelmed! Actually just finished and turned in my last paper about an hour ago, so I'm now officially officially done with my freshman year of college ;). Can't believe how fast time flew--and now I've gotta start thinking about Florence next year! This shirt was actually thrifted by Soobin at one of my favorite places in New York, and I absolutely love it! The beading has a fabulous 20's beaded look to it, and it's in my favorite color--pink! I kept the rest of the outfit neutral as to not distract from the statement of the shirt, and I actually ended up wearing it to present my final Art & Design project since it kind-of matched my designs!

lol at that last picture, the wind blew my shirt up and Jules caught the photo! It was too dorky not to share ;). I leave NYC in about 2 days--excited to go home, but sad to be leaving the city & my friends! This top and these espadrilles are Jules's (still trying to steal as much of my roomies' clothing as possible) and I love how casual and comfy they both are. I'm definitely going to be getting the shoes in the black leather version for Florence next year!

Apologies for my utter lack of blogging recently, finals are definitely taking their toll! It's so bittersweet to think that I'm in my last week of freshman year--fells like just yesterday me and my roomies were moving in! I've been trying to steal as much of my roomies clothing as possible before I'm back down to one closet again (this outfit consists of soobins pants and julias top). Loose pants are literally the best thing ever, and these ones from zara are in such a fun color!
