I pretty much love any white button down, so when I saw this eyelet crop one at forever 21 last week, it was love at first sight! Paired with a denim skirt from LOFT and my favorite bag, I felt like it had a classic all american feel to it Sorry for the lack of posting, but two of my best friends from college are in town this week visiting! Yay!!!

Hi everyone! We had all our family in town last week for my brother's graduation, which was so much fun (but did mean I didn't get much blogging done)! We were blessed enough to have both sets of grandparents here, as well as two uncles and an aunt! aka fun chaos! I pulled out this dress I got a couple years ago to wear for the day, and thought it was just the right mixture of dressed up for the actual graduation, and casual for brunch afterwards. Even though modcloth no longer sells this style, I linked a couple lace-y & feminine styles currently in stock down below! Also, these shoes are SUPER comfy and gorgeous, highly recommend!

Is there anything much hotter in the shoe game right now than espadrilles? It feels like every time I open instagram I see another blogger wearing them! I love the down to earth vibe they carry, and they are truly the perfect quintessential summer shoe. Personal favorite brand is soludos (#2, 4, &6)--currently in the process of picking which style to choose!

One of the best things about being home for the summer is getting to dig through my mom's closet--there's always something fun in there to steal! (moment of silence to moms everywhere for the endless clothing loss their daughters' cause them). For this outfit I stole not one, but two things from her (sorry lisa), a simple white button down, and a cute & unique  tie/scarf/unidentified object in a colorful candy stripe that I tied onto my shorts in a bow. Some of my favorite things to have in my closet are scarves, since there are so many different ways to style them!

It's always a bit harder for me to dress in the summertime (I miss my layers!), but I gotta say I am loving the skirt weather we've been having! This one actually came from a set, though I usually wear them separately. Every time I wear it I feel like I should be heading off to a picnic (or like I'm wearing the picnic blanket). I added a simple halter from brandy melville, and a pop of red lipstick to finish it off! It worked perfectly for hanging out by the pool during my brother's grad party. Side note: if you look close enough you can see my beautifully bandaged toe--I'm just gonna tell people it was caught in a bear trap--believable, right? ;)

Happy Friday everyone! I brought this denim number out again for a day at work, and paired it with a pair of my mom's old shoes she never wears (I think I may have to steal them for good). This whole look was either thrifted or borrowed--since I wore my vintage coach purse with the outfit as well!

Sorry this months "wanted" is so late,  I've been busy trying to get my visa forms turned in on time! Unfortunately FIT was closed on Friday when I went up to the city, so I'll have to turn the forms in tomorrow morning. I've had a ton of fun staying at my friend/froomie Kelly's house this weekend, so I guess it turned out ok! Have a happy monday everyone!
